Our Summer Program
at the Hale Reservation
2010 information and applications are now available at the Club.
Camp brochures will be delivered to the Watertown schools in bundles for each classroom for children to take home. Applications and brochures are also available here at the Club.
Registration must be made in person and a $50 deposit (per week) must be paid. Full and final payment must be made no later than the Thursday prior to the camp week the child is attending.
Final payment for week 9 (Trip Week) must be made, in full, by August 13th.
Camp Hale is a day camp for boys and girls ages 7-12. The campers are taken from the Club by bus and they spend the day at Hale Reservation in Westwood. Hale Reservation is a private 1200 acre wooded site about 20 miles southwest of Watertown. We have a small site with a main cabin and a shaded pavillion. Activities include swimming, boating, archery, fishing, arts and crafts, field games, skits and lots more fun. Children are organized into small groups of not more than 10, each group has a Senior Counselor as well as 1 or more Junior Camp Leaders (similiar to Counselor-in-Training).
A full-time Camp Nurse is on duty daily.
The bus leaves the Club at 9:00 a.m. and returns at approximately 4:45 p.m. You can sign up your child for sessions by the week. Applications are available in April. The weekly tuition is $175.00** per child/week. **see below fee schedule. Call the Club for info ; 617 926 0968
